First off, I'd like to thank a few people for taking the time to criticize my artwork (A big thanks to ~Harpalyce for red-lining one of my deviations and pointing out some errors).

Moving on.

So, after speaking with a man whose son is also an artist, who is/has been/is going to an art college I've been looking at, and after contemplating how I'm going to assemble my portfolio, I've decided that I need to draw like a madman (Whether on paper or in photoshop). In order to do this, I've decided to take up a clever little system that =saejinoh came up with. Every day, I'm going to draw/paint a piece. And I'm going to post it on deviantart. Primarily, this will be for me, just to practice practice practice. I figured that this will seriously prepare me for College, and will help me to create a portfolio, seeing as how many of my picture/paintings aren't really portfolio-worthy.

Every month that I've done this one-a-day thing, I'll choose the 1-2 best pictures from that month and use them in my portfolio.

Now, you may be asking, "Why do I care?" or "How does this involve me?"

You can help by critiquing my art. You know, cause, that's what DeviantArt is for.

But, per what I've come to expect, I know many people will choose to ignore this journal entirely. Oh well.
